Newport Shores Condo

Located along Lake Michigan, the client of this two bedroom condo wanted a modern, yet warm and inviting space that took advantage of the expansive views of the lake. To minimize direct glare and to prevent light from reflection in the windows at night, the downlights were carefully chosen to create a "quiet ceiling". This focus on soft illumination extended to lighting integrated into the architectural features. The goal was to conceal the direct source of the fixtures while highlighting the beautiful materials and elements within the space. Decorative fixtures were also kept to minimum and carefully located so they didn't obstruct the line of sight to the lake.
